Visited this café recently under its new ownership and had such a nice experience. The new owner is super friendly and really wants to make the café a welcoming place for the community. The first time I came was with my younger daughter after school. While waiting for her older sister to finish a class nearby, the owner kindly offered an hourly entry so my younger one could play, which I really appreciated. The café is small but cozy and clean. I came back another time by myself and ordered an Americano — loved the espresso beans, very flavorful. A great spot for parents with little kids who want to relax and enjoy some quiet time in the morning or afternoon. Definitely recommend!
You & Me Cafe is more than just a cafe — it has a beautiful story behind it. The owner’s journey and hard work truly reflect in every detail of the place. You can feel the passion and dedication as soon as you walk in. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the service feels personal and genuine. Knowing the story behind the cafe makes the experience even more special. It’s inspiring to see someone turn their dream into reality and create such a lovely space for the community. The food and drinks are delicious, but what really stands out is the heart behind this place. I highly recommend supporting this amazing local business!
Great spot for toddlers and new walkers. It isn't a big space but surprisingly has lots to do. The tables are very close to the play areas so you can sip coffee and watch your kids closely. The worker/owner was very nice. They also have a loyalty program. We will be coming back for sure!
I love the concept of the space. Amrin is warm and hospitable. She really cares about her customers and making a difference in her community. I was introduced to this cafe by a friend and now it's become my favorite hangout. She carries unique drinks and I'm committed to trying a different drink everytime I visit. Amrin went out of her way to make me eggs the specific way I wanted on my visit today. The food was so yummy! I highly recommend this place!!! You won't be disappointed. It today's fast paced world, it's hard to find a cozy, welcoming place where real connections happen
Beautiful community café with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I was greeted by the owner’s adorable dog Emma, enjoyed a delicious bubble tea, and had some lovely conversations. Really glad this café is part of the neighborhood.
Actually came to get my car cleaned and was told there’s a new café nearby — so I popped in for a coffee. (They’ve probably just opened, as they were still doing some cleaning.) It’s a small, cozy café — perfect for moms with toddlers. There’s a cute indoor play area with a ball pit and even a super friendly little dog who’ll keep you company Didn’t get a chance to try the food this time, but I’ll definitely stop by soon — the machine coffee was quite good! The only thing that put me off a little was that the owners (a husband–wife duo) were chatting on speaker phone about personal things like “did you lock the house” or “make tea.” Since I could understand everything, it felt a bit awkward and unprofessional. While it’s nice to be friendly and casual, cafés also need a touch of hospitality polish — that little “café vibe” was missing. Still, it’s a promising place with good potential, and I’m sure the owners will notice and improve with time. Would love to visit again once they find that perfect balance between friendly and professional .
• I was invited to an event here yesterday ~ such a nice, calm space • Cozy but surprisingly spacious (great for small gatherings or meetups) • Food was simple, warm, and comforting . I had the spring rolls • It’s an Indian café, so of course I had to try the chai • Loved their ginger chai (you can really taste the ginger!) • You can also order masala chai if that’s your vibe • Not fancy ; just a peaceful little getaway off Kingsway & 12th • Perfect for a quiet chai, catching up with friends, or getting connected If you’re nearby, definitely worth checking out and supporting this new local café. chai
I had the loveliest first experience at You N Me Cafe today, and I honestly couldn’t stop myself from sharing it. The chef who is also the owner is such a wonderful soul to talk to. You can instantly feel her warmth and passion for what she does. She makes you feel right at home. And to make the visit even more special, she has the sweetest little pet dog who absolutely made my day! So friendly and welcoming if you have kids, they’ll love stopping by to say hi to the pup. Now let’s talk about the food! The Bombay sandwich was super yum layered with flavorful green chutney, fresh veggies, and topped with grated Amul cheese. Every bite was nostalgic and delicious. I’m not usually someone who orders Maggi, but on the chef’s recommendation (and because it came loaded with veggies), I packed two orders to try. The vegetable Maggi was custom-made with celery, spinach, grated carrots, and broccoli and it was absolutely delicious. So warm and comforting on a rainy day. I’m sure Maggi lovers would enjoy it anytime! What truly stole my heart was her openness to customizing dishes if you let her know in advance. The freshness of the ingredients especially the chutneys really stands out. You can taste the care in every bite. I can’t wait to go back and try the quinoa Buddha salads, omelettes, chaats, and more. So happy to have discovered this gem in New Westminster. Wishing this new entrepreneur all the success she truly deserves it!
